Stop Crying $%*&

Anti Social ness….yes that is one of my character traits (or flaws) I hold with the strength only found within movies where the main character congers up the strength of a million souls in his right bicep refusing to let the person he holds most dear to his heart perish to the abyss of death waiting beyond the cliff…uh ledge…umm sky scraper? The point is I happen to let my introverted nature dictate my actions “every once in a while”>>>>> (every now and then.) A good month later I feel compelled to show up upon your doorstep with that “please let me in” look. ….Bet……..

Lately I haven’t had one major issue that all encompassed my emotions, just a varying range of thoughts upon certain events…trivial to pertinent in no chronological order………

My belief that I have a much better chance of dying by the hands of the police or random latent self hating nigga than a terrorist aside, I sense a sinister underlying reasoning to polling results supporting the illegal wire tapping etc conducted against Americans. Given that most Americans view terrorist as being synonymous with Arab which also within that train of thought is equitable with Muslim which happens to just be the antithesis to American in many eyes, psychically most citizens don’t feel that “Americans” are being spied upon at all. If there was a true feeling that anyone could have there personal rights and privacy rescinded, then the views on this subject would be altered.

Anybody that accumulates 350 million dollars in the span deserves some level of respect, but is it wrong to criticize if said fortune is built on a foundation of cocaine? Well I’m not talking Tony Montana ski slopes, more or less the verbal referencing of it for public consumption. I’ve been a Jay-Z for a decade now, and over such time I honestly think I’ve heard him make 999,845,615,184 references to distributing coke, in a abet highly lyrically adept method. The debate over entertainment vs reality is one I will not encounter now. When I heard Jay, arguably one of the most famous black men in America state that hip hop has done more to improve race relations than any other medium or person I was reminded that misguide intelligence intertwined with arrogance sometimes creates utter stupidity. I love Hip Hop and would venture to say I like millions of others are Hip Hop, but the manifestations of it given the most prominence tend to lend upon more misrepresentations and patronizing then the actual bettering of relationships. Yep, nothing like seeing a bunch of black guys holding guns, running from police, ducking feds, spending money they don’t have on jewels, getting shit face drunk at 3pm while no matter the season it seems to hot for they women to wear a normal amount of fabric, but it’s always the season of ass shaking, to improve perceptions view and ultimately race relations as a whole. Popularity doesn’t equate to improvement. Having Young Jeezy aka the “Snow Man” being his most successful rap act during his short tenure as Def Jam president lends to the thought that things will continue as politics as usual with Jay tho.

On that subject real quick, I was taught a while ago that the more prominence a culture puts on a entity, the more they will reference it or concoct words for it. If I give credence to the first part that theory…boy this is sad.. on da mind....

To quote the underated group Kane n Abel….”Martin Luther King couldn’t save these niggaz”

Hey as I wallow through all types of self saddening ignorance, it’s good to know the I can always look upon Pat Robertson to set white people back in a good 15 years every time he speaks…. It might just me….but I happen to feel that we have seen a progressively more passive God in recent millennia.. Then again I just don’t have the ability to decipher which side something beyond my human comprehension supports on every occasion. I always found the term “God’s People” troubling tho…

I don’t know if there guilty or not, but I do feel that Sean Taylor, Maurice Clarett, and Marcus Vick are super imposed as the norm more than the exception of the rule, and are utilized as facetious proof of negative views.

Recent Addictions: Countdown, Liars and Crooks, Frontline

I understand the power of words, and try to be respectful and aware with them. I am utterly compelled however, to tell Samuel Alito's wife to stop crying bitch. I have my flaws...

Expect Changes………..

The most beautiful thing I’ve seen this year
